A mother feared to have been planning to travel to Syria with her four children has been charged with child abduction.
Scotland Yard said Zahera Tariq would appear in court later today after being detained in Turkey.
The 33-year-old, from Walthamstow, north-east London, was arrested by counter terrorism police after she landed on a flight from Istanbul at Luton Airport on Thursday.
She went missing with her three sons and daughter, aged between four and 12. It was believed they flew from London City Airport to Amsterdam on August 25.
Police said the children were “safe and well” when found by Turkish authorities.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “Zahera Tariq, 33, of Waltham Forest has today, Saturday, September 5, been charged with one count of child abduction.
“She will appear at Camberwell Green Magistrates’ Court later today.”
