POLICE are appealing for help after three indecent assaults in four days in Swansea city centre, two of which were on the same woman.
The incidents all happened during the day, and detectives are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Officers say the first attack happened between 5.30pm and 5.45pm on Saturday when a 21-year-old woman was approached by an unknown teenager as she walked near the car par of the Marriott hotel in Swansea Marina who touched her “inappropriately”.
The same woman was the victim of the second incident which happened on Tuesday in the same area at around the same time.
Officers say that following both incidents the attacker was seen to “grope” himself.
Police have released a description of a man they want to talk to in connection with the incident – he is described as being of Asian appearance, around 5ft 5in tall, aged about 16, and with short black hair. On the first occasion he was wearing shorts and a T-shirt; on the second occasion he was wearing jogging bottoms.
Police are also investigating another incident on Tuesday which happened at around 5pm – a 33-year-old was touched inappropriately by a man near Bathurst Street car park between the Civic Centre and the Marriott hotel.
The suspect in this incident is described as being of an Asian appearance, aged around 16, approximately 5ft 6in tall, and with short dark hair. He was wearing jogging bottoms and carrying a rucksack.
South Wales Police detective inspector Mark Kavanagh of Swansea CID said: “These are concerning incidents and we are appealing for help in identifying the suspect as soon as possible. He has approached lone females and touched them inappropriately in broad daylight.
“I would appeal to anyone who has seen this suspect hanging around the Oystermouth Road area between the civic centre and Marriott hotel to contact the police.”
